E2
Just got back from E2 last night in Des Moines. Once a year our District hold meetings for area pastors and it is always good to get together and get refreshed in the Lord. This years speaker was Denny Curran from River of Life AG in Cold Springs MN. Denny was very encouraging because Denny is a pastor in a community of only 3000 people. Denny has been used by God to do some incredible things in this small town. Since he has been there, his church has grown to over 600 people. That is not only the incredible thing about his ministry. His church has planted five other churches in other small towns. Denny is doing big things in a small community. God really challenged me the last two days to think outside the box. I know God has already done some incredible things in our church but I really feel that God is not done. I feel in my heart that the best is yet to come and seeing what God has done in Denny's church encourages me to know God can do it here too!

This is so right, Pastor. We cant limit the work of God by thinking we have maxed out our growth and ministry to Montezuma and the surrounding area. The Lord has a plan and we just need to succomb to it. I hope and pray he will raise up church planters within our congregation to go into Grinnell and Brooklyn and Williamsburg.
Have you been reading my mail? Wow! I feel in my heart God has big plans for these three areas as well. How exciting!
Hello Pastor Todd. it is me April Lorey and also Christian Lorey we are sureing the same blog. I have never heard of this guy you are speaking of before but it sounds amazing, God lead us to a small church in norwalk Iowa called christian life Assmbley we are still new to this church but it runs about 300 memebers or less and they are looking for a new pastor right now i know of a friend who goes there is how i found out about the church you can tell that GOD has big plans a head for this small church i just do not think GOD is ever done with in the walls of a church i think no mater how old. how new or how small or big a church is it will always grow as long as the Lord is There and People with in the church go out and reach other souls for Christ a church may have some slow periods big time and then all of a sudden God brings people in we need to keep reaching out to the hurting and lost souls and there is always new Ministrys that can happen to with in a church such as small groups, prayer group class's ETC
Anyways just my thought
God Bless
